Interior fit-out of premises of diagnostic healthcare provider.
810m² (8,720 ft²)
Pilot rebranding fit-out project. In 2015 Euromedic rebranded as Affidea and commenced refurbishment of all locations to achieve a fresh new interiors scheme to reflect the new brand.
On arrival, visitors are immediately greeted by friendly staff behind a strategically positioned contemporary new curved desk. This white corian structure is illuminated in a blue led strip light at the base, giving the desk a floating appearance. This curve is mimicked in the bench seating which creates the partition between the reception and waiting area.
Flooring changes from non-slip grey stone tile to hardwood to define specific areas. Earthy materials were chosen to warm perception of spaces which otherwise would look quite clinical.
Colour is used to assist in wayfinding (eg: Ultrasound - yellow) and is present in decals used in corridors and rooms and in door finishes.
Accommodation (diagnostic areas, changing rooms, staff facilities, etc.) has been re-organised to provide facilities better suited to the needs of users.
