The building provides spacious circulation for wheelchair users, the use of bright colours to promote user legibility and an open and inviting ambience to promote interaction between the centre’s clients and the surrounding community. The architecture embodies a philosophical move away from traditional institutions and isolation by the creation of integrated community facilities.
