John is director of the Sligo office of Reddy Architecture + Urbanism.
John has personally designed and led multidisciplinary design teams to the realization of a number of high profile projects for private clients, developers and public institutions, such as the Arts and Humanities Research Building, the Campus masterplan and An Bhialann development for NUI Galway; and Ardmore and Rivermount apartment developments in Dublin.
He has also been centrally involved in Urban Regeneration projects in Galway, Trim and Dublin’s inner city.
Prior to joining the practice John was project architect on a number of projects in the pharmaceutical sector for the Hurd Rolland Partnership in Scotland.
John has a particular interest in residential and master planning, playing a central role in the management and strategic development of the group, evolving the practice’s language of design in relation to design, from feasibility sketch scheme and concept stages to detailed design development, fabrication and construction, creating sustainable and thought provoking architecture for the future.
