The Challenge
The brief demanded not only high environmental and wellness standards, but also the integration of flexible, inclusive spaces to foster collaboration and support a diverse workforce.

The Story
BNY Mellon selected The Shipping Office as a strategic global location, aiming to create a future-ready workplace. The design team began with intensive workshops, analysing utilisation data from BNY Mellon's global portfolio to inform every decision. The project's scope included a tech express space, staff gym, top-floor client suite, a 60-seater work café, and a 300-seater town hall area alongside hybrid-enabled collaboration, focus, and wellness rooms.

The Outcome
The result is a highly efficient, flexible workspace that maximises daylight, supports fluid movement, and offers panoramic views of the River Liffey. The Shipping Office stands as a benchmark for sustainable, inclusive office design, seamlessly blending global standards with local character.
