The Story
The Fern Dean offers a collection of elegant bedrooms with generous en-suite bathrooms, alongside spacious dining and lounge areas and a wide range of thoughtfully designed residential amenities.
The Outcome
With an emphasis on the therapeutic value of a homelike environment, the design seeks to create the ambience of a home rather than an institution, with natural colours, good daylight and extensive views to the outside. Natural light is an essential element in senior living environments. Roof lights and secondary glazing between the day rooms maximise views and daylight to ensure the sitting spaces are welcoming.
